Redo’s help center describes package protection like this:

How does Sam work?

Sam Shipping Protection focuses on shipping protection. Customers add protection on the cart, cart drawer or thank-you page, or in checkout on Shopify Plus. You keep 100% of the fee and resolve claims with a full or partial refund, store credit or a reorder. Pricing can be flat, a percentage with a minimum and maximum, or bands by cart value. Sam is free for 50 protected orders a month, then $9/month for unlimited orders, or $29/month with the Plus checkout extension.

How do Sam and Redo compare?

1. Export your recent protection claims from Redo to see your claim rate and average cost.
